I used to be a loyal follower of Microsoft FrontPage. Nothing could be better than Front Page right? But when Front Page stopped working I was forced to find another web editor. And I found Dreamweaver 4. Now I know the truth. Dreamweaver is the best web editor out there.
Dreamweaer MX adds to the success of Dreamweaver and Dreamweaver UltraDev 4 by combining them all under the new design of the Macromedia MX suite.
Excellent tabbed toolbars allow you to easily add components to your web page and the site organiser offers FTP uploading, templates so you can easily update all your pages at once and one click access to all the files on your site.
You can choose between working in code or WYSIWYG, or even a split window if you prefer. This is great for learning HTML. There are a few errors in the server side coding (ASP, PHP, etc) in the preview edition but hopefully these have been ironed out by now.
Dreamweaver is he best web editor out there and Dreamweaver MX just adds to its success.
